A CLOSER LOOK
Exploration is a team effort
Astronauts train, conduct experiments, operate spacecraft and work with large teams on the ground. These three profiles are a starting point in a much larger human story.
LIFE BEYOND EARTH
More than the launch.
Rehearse on Earth
Simulators, technical study and team exercises help crews practice operations before a mission.
Work in microgravity
Crews conduct research, maintain equipment and adapt familiar tasks to an environment of continual free fall.
Stay part of a team
Mission control, engineers, scientists and support staff help astronauts carry out their work safely and effectively.
